Brooke Koeppel

I am so excited to be joining Milestones Psychology as a Post-Doctoral Fellow and am committed to providing care from a warm, compassionate, and person-centered approach. Whether facing life’s obstacles or opportunities, my goal is to help children, adolescents, and families build the skills and confidence they need to approach new experiences, manage challenges, and move forward even when difficult thoughts or feelings get in the way.

Throughout my doctoral training, I have gained meaningful experience providing individualized, evidence-based treatment to children and adolescents with anxiety, selective mutism, OCD, ADHD, emotional dysregulation, learning differences, and giftedness. I have received intensive training in several evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy for Selective Mutism (PCIT-SM). Alongside this training, I approach each client with curiosity and respect for their individual experiences, strengths, and goals.

My training across both school-based and outpatient mental health settings has reinforced my belief in taking a holistic approach to care that considers each individual’s strengths, relationships, family, school, and broader environment. I value collaborating with children, families, and school teams to develop treatment that is grounded in evidence while remaining responsive to each individual’s needs and goals.

I feel grateful to be joining the Milestones Psychology team and look forward to bringing my experiences, perspective, and passion for this work to the practice.
