Clinical Extern

I am eager to join the team at Milestones Psychology, where I will have the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with clinicians who share my deep commitment to supporting the well-being of children and families through developmentally-informed, evidence-based care. My academic and clinical training shape my therapeutic approach, which is rooted in warmth and a strengths-based perspective to nurture each child’s growth by recognizing and cultivating their unique capabilities.
Collaboration is central to my work. I believe that families, educators, and service providers each offer valuable insights and that children thrive when these perspectives come together in a cohesive and supportive partnership. I prioritize working collaboratively in treatment to build a consistent and connected support system that extends beyond the therapy space.
I am equally committed to tailoring evidence-based treatment to meet the unique strengths and needs of each child. My background in developmental research has deepened my understanding of key developmental milestones and children’s resilience, which aids the tailoring of interventions that are developmentally appropriate and affirming of each child’s individual capabilities.
Throughout my training, I have supported children experiencing a range of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, OCD, and behavioral challenges. My clinical training has included exposure to evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as interventions for trauma and stress-related disorders. My goal is to create a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment where children and families feel empowered to navigate challenges and foster lasting growth.
