Clinical Extern

With experience in both school and clinical settings, I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and families as they navigate behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges. I have worked in high-need public schools and private practices, providing neuropsychological assessments and therapy. Through these experiences, I gained a deep appreciation for the importance of tailoring interventions to the unique needs of each child. I believe the most meaningful change happens when schools, families, and service providers collaborate, and I make it a priority to involve parents as active partners in treatment.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, with training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), PCIT-SM, and interventions for anxiety and ADHD. I draw on play therapy techniques with younger children, as well as structured skill-building and coping strategies for older youth, ensuring that treatment is developmentally attuned and strengths-based. I aim to equip children with tools they can use both inside and outside the therapy room, fostering resilience, self-confidence, and a sense of agency.

Currently, I serve as a clinician extern with Milestones Psychology, and I also work as a school-based practitioner, supporting students from diverse backgrounds in building emotional regulation skills, strengthening peer relationships, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Above all, I strive to create a warm, validating space where children feel seen, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential.
